Who is responsible

Your private app content

Your drinking records, journal, goals, check-ins and coach conversations are processed on your device. ClearDays does not upload them to its servers or send them to RevenueCat. Coaching uses on-device Apple models when supported, or built-in local guidance. There is no cloud AI conversation service.

Purchases and subscription access

Apple processes payments. RevenueCat manages subscription access using purchase and transaction information, an app user identifier and technical information needed to provide the service. We can access subscription information for support. Your drinking records and coach text are not included. Processing supports your purchase contract and fraud prevention.

Website visits and article downloads

Cloudflare delivers this website and Newsstand files. Requests expose technical information such as IP address, requested address, time and browser or device information to the hosting service. This is used to deliver and secure the service, on the basis of legitimate interests. We do not add advertising pixels or cross-site tracking cookies. App Store links may include a campaign label identifying the page or language, not your personal app records.

Support, diagnostics and sharing

If you email us, we receive your address, message and anything you attach. We use this to respond and resolve issues, based on legitimate interests or your service request. Share sensitive information only if you choose to. Apple may provide diagnostics according to your device and App Store settings. Exported files, shared images and device backups are controlled by you and the services you choose. A device backup may contain app data.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app; separate exports and backups may remain. Coach conversations are not kept as a server history. Support information is retained only as needed to handle your request, follow-up and applicable legal obligations. Subscription and hosting records follow the relevant service retention requirements. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit records in the app, export a backup or use its deletion controls. For personal information held by us, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction, and object to processing where applicable. You may complain to your local data protection authority. We cannot retrieve records stored only on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Service providers and international processing

Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare and the email services involved in support may process information outside your country. Their applicable data protection terms and transfer safeguards govern that processing. Links to their privacy information appear below. ClearDays is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We update this page when our practices change.
